MABOCA IN THE WILD (MABOCA IN SAVVAĻA)

A creative camp dedicated to our friend, companion, and colleague Kārlis Biķernieks.

The camp lasted four days: three days in Madona and one day in Savvaļa.

In Madona, Origo Boys wrote new songs and worked on their upcoming album, Meeting for a Lifetime; TV Maskava began a collaboration with Rūdis Romanoss, creating new songs and a music video; Margrieta Griestiņa and Dāvis Ozols created straw sculptures as part of the installation Class of 2026.

On the fourth day, during the Summer Solstice, the camp participants travelled to Savvaļa in Drusti, where they gave a concert and exhibited the installation.

That’s the magic of the Summer Solstice.
