The Day Before Yesterday

On 1 August at 6:00 PM, MABOCA Gallery at Visuma Centrs 2 will open "The Day Before Yesterday", an exhibition by students of the Latvian Academy of Arts' Visual Communication and KAS departments.

The informal part of the opening will feature music by Mārtiņš Ratniks and TV Maskava.

"You can never rely on what has already happened. What it will become has never existed before. As long as the Earth remains round, there will always be a day that becomes the day before yesterday."

Exhibiting artists: Sintija Kirsone, Lāsma Fedotova, Maija Sjomkāne, Betija Jakaite, Elza Bērziņa, Patrīcija Luiza Broka, and Ojārs Pētersons.

This project has received financial support through the Vidzeme Planning Region's programme Vidzeme Cultural Programme 2026, implemented within the State Culture Capital Foundation's targeted programme Development Programme for Latvia's Historical Lands.
